Service Overview
The Reentry Project is a program dedicated exclusively to serving the reentry population within the South Jersey Legal Services, Inc. program area. We help individuals with a variety of civil legal matters that are barriers to community reintegration, including, but not limited to the following matters:
- Expungements;
- Drivers’ License Restoration;
- Obtaining Identification;
- Resolution of Municipal Court Fines;
- Employment/Occupational Licensing Issues.
The reentry population includes formerly incarcerated individuals and people who have had experience with the criminal justice system. The Reentry Project also provides guidance, resources, and/or serves as co-counsel to other South Jersey Legal Services, Inc. staff in local offices serving individuals who are experiencing other problems not addressed above.
